$60 Ico$ahedron Click for Full Size Image

This is an 30 unit triangle edge module icosahedron made with $2 bills with the back of the bill facing out. Makes for a much greener color than it's $1 bill counterpart, although I still think the pattern made by the $1 bills is more interesting.

Next I need to come up with $150 in $5 bills. I'd use $100 bills but.. well.. where am I going to find $3000?

Interlocking Heart Rings Click for Full Size Image

My brother got married over the weekend (back in 2006!) and as part of my wedding gift to them I folded the Interlocking Heart Rings (folded from one uncut square!) from Jeremy Shafer's Origami to Astonish and Amuse. I also folded the fancy gift box from the same chapter in the same book, but as of right now don't have a photo of it available for upload.

To Kenneth and Yasna: I know you'll take care of each other on the many future adventures that life has in store for you, and if the past few years is any indication, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful life together. Thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding.

Bluesparrowhawk's Dragon Click for Full Size Image

Several months ago, I posted a thank you note on an entry of Bluesparrowhawk's open diary which now apparently no longer exists. I always appreciate it when someone mentions or links to my site and so I offered to post some of her work if she had the means to send photos to me. She recently decided to take me up on my offer and sent me this lovely photo of a dragon that she folded.

This dragon is folded from one of the designs found in the book Origami Sourcebook by Jay Ansill. Since I don't actually have my copy handy right now, I couldn't say which one offhand, but I believe that there are three different dragon designs in the book. I will post more details once I have them.

Alternate base for Kawasaki Rose Click for Full Size Image

This is a rose of the same design featured here but the base and stem are different designs. Ronald Rae Yu sent this photo and has posted his instructions on how to fold and attach the base. Thank you, Ron!

Jeph's Library Display Click for Full Size Image

This was sent to me by Jeph. This is a photo of a display that Jeph set up at his local library. I no longer have the full details of what library or when and how long it was on display.

Asortment Click for Full Size Image
This is a display of some of the models I folded when I was doing technical support for a living.. being tied to a desk by a short leash... er... phone cord for several hours a day with nothing for my hands to do led to a lot of this. Many of these models can be found in the books I feature in the bookstore.
SR-71 Blackbird Click for Full Size Image
High speed, high altitude, stealth reconnaissance aircraft... or it would be if it wasn't made of paper. This is one of the models featured in Origami for the Connoisseur, A book that I highly reccomend.
Large icosahedron Click for Full Size Image
I used to know how many modules this took - two hundred something, I think. One of these days, I'll figure it out again. This was made from "Open Frame II" modules from Unit Origami by Tomoko Fuse.
20 Dollar Butterfly Click for Full Size Image

"All butterflies know are songs and poetry and anything else they hear."

But what is life without a little sillyness now and then, hmm? Speaking of silly butterflies, here is one folded out of a $20 bill. The diagrams can be found at Origami.com [pdf file].

This image was one of the images featured on the homepage for the last year or so. I have since started featuring a different model each week so check the homepage for the latest folds!
